Location: Joint Base Lewis McChord
Responsibilities
Performs a full range of simple cooking of items that require little to no processing and prepping foods by peeling, chopping, cutting, grinding, pureeing, dredging, and similar tasks. Operates and cleans standard kitchen equipment that use multiple heat sources such as gas, electricity, steam and/or microwave. Maintains a clean workspace and follows established sanitation procedures when handling food. Ensures foods are properly cooked and stored at the correct temperatures to prevent the growth of bacteria.
Performs other duties as assigned.
