Are you looking to put your culinary skills to work? We have an amazing opportunity for you to utilize your cooking experience in our kitchen at Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center located in Medical Lake, WA.
Some of what you will do:- Prepare meals following production sheet for all clients/residents.
- Cooking casseroles, roasts, vegetables and other dishes as needed.
- Follow and adjust recipes to make an appropriate amount of food.
- Take and record temperatures of food and cooling units daily.
- Dish various special diet items following written Doctor's orders.
- Texture food into the proper texture.
- Set‑up, Load food to the living areas.
- Clean and Sanitize kitchen following State, Federal and Local Health Codes and Policies.
- Wash dishes using institutional dish washer and/or sink method and put them away.
- Set up, tear down and clean diet table.
- Perform special deep cleaning of kitchen areas to include but not limited to Freezers, Walk‑ins and ovens.
One year of experience in food preparation or cooking.
Note: Completion of course in large‑scale cooking may substitute for experience. Desired:- Obtain and maintain a WA State Food Handler's permit.
- Annual TB screening is required.
- Follow written and oral instructions.
