Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, and other repair needs related to the Harmar OTB.

* Assists in repairs of kitchen equipment.

* Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems.

* General knowledge of OSHA requirements and understanding/compliance with safety procedures.

* Maintains property appearance by repairing walls, floors, carpeting, and painted surfaces as needed.

* Assists Maintenance department with projects as assigned.

* Reports back to The Meadows Facility Manager regarding any major repairs.

* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of Engineering or facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field required.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or finishing trades.

* Basic computer skills.

* Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

* Knowledge of the proper operation of hand and power tools.

* Ability to work in small areas, high areas such as catwalks, and dimly lit areas.

* Ability to work in all weather conditions.

* Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
