The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Olympic National Park is April but can be variable due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty:

DutiesThe Pacific West Region is recruiting for TEMPORARY seasonal positions not to exceed 1039 hours work in a service year. Dates of employment will vary depending on funding, weather conditions and visitation. Within regulatory limitations, the length of initial appointment may be shortened or extended depending on work availability and funding.
You will work in a Wilderness Information Center providing resource orientation and information about Olympic National Park.
You will spend about 75% of your working hours in a Wilderness Information Center issuing Wilderness Permits, providing Leave No Trace education, dispensing Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) information, and collecting fees. You will also work about 25% of the time conducting uniformed wilderness patrols in Olympic National Park's 876,447 acres of federally designated Wilderness.
Government housing MAY be available.
