Overview
The Parking Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized first impression for guests arriving at the resort. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining parking lots, directing traffic, and assisting guests with information and access needs.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit ated an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular mountain biking trails and scenic lift rides, there is a lot to do all year long.
Responsibilities- Direct vehicles safely and efficiently into designated parking areas while maintaining clear traffic flow.
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and provide accurate resort information and directions.
- Prepare parking areas each morning by removing trash, shoveling snow, and applying sand/salt as needed to reduce slip hazards.
- Monitor guest safety and traffic movement throughout the day, responding to issues or hazards promptly.
- Support high-volume operations during peak days, including Ski & Ride School drop‑off/pick‑up assistance.
- Must be able to work outside in variable and extreme weather conditions for extended periods.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure or emotionally charged situations involving guests or traffic control.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history is preferred.
- Previous guest service or outdoor operations experience is a plus.
The wage range for this position is: from $21.50 - $23/hr.
This is a non‑benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2‑year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
