Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Grand Coulee, Washington.

Department: OB – Labor & Delivery

Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Location:

[Facility Name / City, State] Unit Overview: L&D Beds: 2 rooms (1:1 or 1:2 ratio depending on census) Postpartum Beds:
Acute care rooms used if stays >24 hours OR Suites for C-Sections: C-Sections in OR; PACU recovery Birth Volume: 50–60 per year Fetal Monitoring: EFM (Fetal Link) – RNs monitor patients on magnesium Patient Population:
Low to moderate risk (Diabetes, GDM, AMA, limited prenatal care) Floating:
Acute Med/Surg if no OB patients Weekend/Holiday Requirements:
Every other weekend; holidays as needed Staffing & Support:
Charge Nurse:
Hospital-wide Nurse Aides/Techs:
None for L&D OB/Neonatologist Coverage:
Family Practice OBs in clinic during day; on-call after hours (~20 min response) Anesthesia:
On-call 24/7 RT Equipment:
Nasal cannula, non-rebreather, high flow for newborns (no RT in-house) Licensure & Certifications

Required:

ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM (Intermediate required; Advanced preferred) Experience Requirements:
Must be experienced in neonatal antepartum, L&D, postpartum care Must be able to work on Acute Med/Surg floor if no OB patients 1 year OB experience acceptable Medications / Drips:
Insulin, magnesium (titrated per protocol) Orientation: 1 day on unit Dress Code:
Any clean, professional scrubs
