About Avail Home Health
Founded by a nurse in 1981, we provide one‑on‑one skilled nursing care throughout Washington State to medically fragile patients in their homes, so they can live with their families in familiar surroundings instead of in a hospital or facility. We are pioneers in the home health nursing field, having brought the first ventilator‑dependent child from Children’s Orthopedic Hospital (now Seattle Children’s) to live with his family in Yakima.
Today, supporting ventilator‑dependent patients in their home has become almost commonplace, but the need for compassionate, skilled care for these medically fragile patients has not changed.

Your compassionate presence, positive attitude, up‑to‑date charting, clear communication, and collaboration with families and other healthcare providers make a big impact on patients and their households.
