Onsite Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C)

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Service areas incorporate: Colfax, WA

• Provide face‑to‑face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM‑V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

• Full‑time or Part‑time available
• W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor roles available

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possess DEA).
• Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
• 1 year geriatric psych experience (preferred).

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
