- Responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing – Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other professional standards. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the provision and coordination of nursing care to include collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes and development of a plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members. Identify interventions to attain outcomes, implement them, evaluate progress and document the process. This care includes sensitivity to age‑specific and unique needs.
- Promotes and evaluates effective functioning of the health care team. Collaborates with team members to meet patient/family needs throughout the episode of care and delegates tasks as governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act.
- Hourly rate range for a Staff Nurse II: $34.00 – $46.75 per hour (Salary will depend on career ladder placement).
- Location/Department: ECU Health Beaufort (Washington, NC) – Central Staffing Office (Float Pool)
- Full‑time (36 hrs/week) night shift with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Central Staffing RNs receive an additional $5 after completion of orientation.
- Additional financial incentive: $5 after orientation and $30K commitment incentive.

The 142‑bed full‑service hospital located in Washington, NC, is a campus of ECU Health Medical Center and a national Primary Stroke Center. It offers general medical and surgical services, an emergency department, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services, and outpatient clinics.
