Job Overview

As a Car Porter and Detailer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our autobody shop runs smoothly and our customers’ vehicles look impeccable. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of vehicles within the premises and performing detailed cleaning and maintenance to maintain our high standards of vehicle presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport vehicles to and from various locations within the shop premises.
  • Perform comprehensive detailing services, including washing, waxing, interior vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, and tire dressing.
  • Inspect vehicles for any missed areas and ensure the quality meets our shop's standards.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and detailing supplies.
  • Conduct pre-wash inspections to identify any existing damage and report it to the appropriate personnel.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines while handling vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in car detailing or a related field is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
