The Philanthropy Officer, Corporate and Foundation Relations, manages philanthropic relationships for long-term growth with local businesses, corporations, and other grant-making agencies. This position may also serve as the primary moves manager for a portfolio of organizational prospects. This role may interface with members of the Executive Team, Leadership Team, and other organization leaders to facilitate prospect meetings, proposals, and reports. The Philanthropy Officer, Corporate and Foundation Relations, will work under the direction of the Philanthropy Supervisor to plan, develop and implement strategies designed to realize the engagement potential of organization prospects.
This role is primarily responsible for facilitating productive communication and access between organizations and Tri-Cities Chaplaincy.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience considered.
- Excellent computer skills, including database, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Excellent persuasive writing and oral communication skills.
- 3 years of experience working in a nonprofit fundraising setting or the equivalent.
- 1 year of experience submitting grant applications and sponsor proposals or the equivalent.
- Event planning experience for attendance counts that exceed 100 guests.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Self‑motivated to act with a high level of excellence.
- General nonprofit accounting knowledge preferred.

CompensationHiring Range: $29.88/hour - $36.42/hour
Benefits- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.72 per mile, for eligible positions.
- Vacation: Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked.
