The HCC Portfolio Collections Manager will manage collections and customer service teams and be directly responsible for collecting accounts 60+ days past due.
Responsibilities- Responsible for portfolio monitoring, particularly for accounts 60+ days past due, prioritizing calls and maintaining detailed activity notes.
- Providesvue guidance to collections and customer service teams in managing their duties.
- Interacts frequently with senior management regarding the status of problem loans.
- Reviews and analyzes account information to establish the best possible outcome (legal, restructuring).
- Negotiates settlements with customers or their counsel.
- Prepares daily and monthly delinquency reports.
- Participates in monthly portfolio review meetings highlighting key issues.
- Proficient সমঝে the legal process relating to the recovery of commercial loans.
- Ability to analyze credit reports, payment histories and personal records to determine payment potential.
- Strong research skills with skip‑tracing abilities.
- Understanding of equipment‑finance terminology and documentation.
- Ability to draft professional emails, letters, settlement agreements and other documentation.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Detail‑ and service‑oriented.
- Strong communication, negotiation and follow‑up skills.
- Competence in preparing basic reports and business correspondence.
- Working knowledge of a PC/Windows environment and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new customized programs.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related work experience, including supervisory responsibilities and managing direct reports.
