We are seeking a dedicated RN for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Washington, Missouri. This Part-Time (24 hrs/wk) position offers day shifts, providing essential post-operative patient care.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safety and stability
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient progress
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond quickly in critical situations.
