• Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.
• Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations.
• Perform in-process checks to maintain all required tolerances and quality.
• Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
• Operate, prove programs, set machine functions, deburr and inspect parts to assure conformance.
• Work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine within capabilities; report all malfunctions to Management.
• Accurately report labor to jobs as needed.
• Organize work area before and after parts are processed, stack completed parts properly on blocks or pallets to eliminate double handling and work efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area during operations.
• Communicate with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Communicate all production-related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors.

• High school diploma with vocational or trade school training.
• 2–3 years press brake experience preferred.
• Detail and quality oriented.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Professional communication, attitude and image.
• Ability to read tape measure, calipers, and protractor.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
