Summary
Receives and stores product in warehouse. Pulls product from Apprise wireless RF modules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operates forklift
- Warehouses product
- Unloads containers
- Performs cycle counts
- Receives and logs all incoming product
- Performs bin validation checks
- General clean up of warehouse and receiving dock
- Pulls orders and work orders for production
- Yearly inventory
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, shipping documents, and memos. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Be able to speak and understand simple sentences.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or limited variables.
Other
Skills and Abilities:
Basic computer skills and forklift certified.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on some occasions lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and employee will regularly work near moving mechanical parts.
