JOB SUMMARY:The Process Operator is an integral member of the production team, performing functions to create safe, quality products and assisting with both pressure washing and production tasks. This role focuses on ensuring the swift and accurate execution of pressure washing, while also supporting production operations. The individual in this position will be responsible for producing fertilizer products, utilizing fish waste and monitoring equipment during the production process.
Duties also include unloading trucks, pressure washing totes, and cleaning the workspace as needed. Completes other tasks assigned by plant leadership as needed.
- Support the packing and preparation of shipments, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
- Grind fish waste.
- Produce fertilizer products.
- Monitor production equipment and take out debris.
- Clean the production plant, pressure washing totes.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and quality work.
- Demonstrate initiative with the ability to perform daily duties with little oversight.
- Work effectively with other team members to complete the production process.
- Unload trucks and move totes utilizing forklift or other equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Meets physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively is preferred, but not required. (We offer forklift certification).
- Licensing & Special Requirements:
Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is performed outdoors or in a warehouse setting. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
