We are seeking an Assistant Feed Mill Manager to join our team in Roy, WA. We are open to a variety of industry backgrounds. Our ideal candidate has experience working in farming, maintenance, or operational environments and will play a vital role in daily mill operations for our vertically integrated poultry operation.

• Assist in supervising 2 to 3 personnel, developing a high-performance team
• Help develop specifications and standards for crew work performance
• Assist with mechanics and overall mill operators to aid in preventative maintenance program
• Implement and ensure compliance with disease prevention and product Quality Control programs
• Recognize and troubleshoot quality/operational problems while working with nutritionist, trucking and Wilcox production team
• Develop a solid working knowledge of organic & non-GMO guidelines for Wilcox Farm’s respective products
• Coordinate truck and rail transportation for incoming ingredients
• Ability to source new suppliers for existing/new feed ingredients
• Work collaboratively to create value added supplier relationships

• Proficient use of PC including Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of feed mill operations or similar environments preferred, but not required
• Mechanical and maintenance experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
