Production Manager
Trueline’s client, a high‑capacity precast concrete manufacturer based in Central Washington, is seeking a Precast Yard Superintendent to lead daily operations at their production facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for directing large teams, managing production targets, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all plant operations.
What You'll Do as the Precast Yard Superintendent- Lead day‑to‑day operations in the precast yard, overseeing a large crew (50 to 100+ employees) across multiple work areas
- Supervise the production of prestressed concrete elements including walls, panels, beams, columns, and hollow core
- Assign personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient plant operations that meet production goals, quality standards, and budget targets
- Plan and schedule ongoing production requirements, making real‑time adjustments to meet delivery timelines
- Enforce company rules, policies, and expectations while building a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Translate strategic goals into daily operational actions, providing clear direction and motivation to your team
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements for safety, efficiency, and output
- Proven experience managing a large precast concrete crew (50+ employees) in a production or yard environment
- Strong technical knowledge of prestressed concrete elements and precast manufacturing processes
- Ability to plan, schedule, and lead complex production operations in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment
- Effective leadership skills with a focus on communication, direction‑setting, and team development
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA and similar standards)
- Demonstrated ability to align plant operations with broader company goals and production targets
- Experience with process improvement initiatives or lean manufacturing in a concrete/precast environment
- Background in plant layout, workflow optimization, or large‑scale scheduling
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Prior experience in union or non‑union workforce management
