Repack Coordinator; Lead

Schedule: Est. 6:30am – 4:30pm (1hr lunch; two 15-min breaks);
Mon-Fri;
Sat & OT as needed

Compensation: $18.66 – $22.91/hr

Other Compensation: Discretionary Bonuses

• Assist in daily preparation for repack.
• Communicate plans for repack to the repack crew with an emphasis on deadlines for urgent requests.
• Observe production and communicate any problems or opportunities for retraining to the Lead.
• Assist with solutions for more efficient Repack processes
• Communicate personnel needs in each repack area based on what is being repacked
• Generate lists for Repack, direct forklift drivers or send requests to the ASRS operator to have fruit staged timely and in correct staging areas
• Use radio and phone to communicate with Leads, Supervisor and Forklift drivers
• Help to coordinate the next request for smooth and timely transition between repack requests.

• Collect Pallet Tags as fruit is distributed for repack
• Create Repack order in IWS that matches pallet tags
• Input Pallet Tag information into the Pear/Apple input/output sheet
• Take attendance for repack crews and input labor into input/output sheet

• Scan and palletize quickly in an effort to update inventory and return produce to storage and appropriate temperature
• De-palletize all pallet tags for fruit that has been repacked
• Review daily the Repack location in IWS to make sure that all pallets have been scanned to their new location and pallets that no longer exist have been de-palletized.
• Ensure produce is assigned to appropriate location. Direct forklift drivers to locate and scan fruit to its current location.
• Be knowledgeable and follow all food safety policies, company policies, and plant safety rules & policies
• Instruct others to follow food safety, Company policies, and plant safety rules & policies
• Report to lead & supervisor any violations of Company policies

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Microsoft Office suite preferred
• Use of computers & printers preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to read/write/speak English
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have use of all extremities
• Must be able to reach above shoulders
• Must have strong visual acuity and 20/20 vision with or w/out corrective lenses
• Must be able to identify colors
