Base pay range: $170,000 – $185,000 per year.

Currently the operation is managing an exciting multi‑year pipeline of projects and is looking to build our team to effectively deliver results.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, optimization, and lifecycle management of all physical assets at the mine and mill site. This leadership role ensures maximum asset performance, reliability, and value by implementing robust asset management frameworks, maintenance strategies, condition monitoring, and risk‑based decision‑making that align with site objectives and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Execute short and long‑term maintenance and asset management strategies that support site growth, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Oversee budget planning, procurement, and implementation of best practices to maximize uptime, efficiency, and value.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, finance and other teams to prioritize investments, plan capital replacements, and minimize asset lifecycle costs.
  • Direct condition monitoring, inspections, and predictive analytics to support preventive maintenance and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze asset performance data, produce regular asset health/status reports, and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
  • Lead or support initiatives in asset reliability, digitalization, automation, and sustainability.
  • Manage compliance with safety, regulatory, and audit requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Supervise asset management staff and vendors, providing coaching, clear goals, and accountability for safe, effective asset stewardship.
  • Develop and maintain contingency, emergency, and obsolescence plans in response to identified risks or threats.
  • Prepare operational budgets, forecasts, and documentation for asset‑related projects and capital expenditures.
  • Act as a change agent and project sponsor for key initiatives, setting cultural tone, modeling organizational values, and prioritizing strategic business goals.
  • Complies with and models First Priorities guidelines and requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred; certification in reliability or asset management desired.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams and asset management programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of asset management systems, budgeting, and capital planning processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and continuous improvement frameworks in mining environments.
  • Ability to work on‑site, travel as required, and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the US.

Compensation Data

Salary range: $170,000 – $185,000.
