Maintenance Tech

Overview

Maintenance Tech 2  role focuses on keeping the resort running smoothly by performing monthly maintenance on mechanical systems, tackling drywall and paint repairs, and handling construction projects with minimal supervision. You will multitask, prioritize work orders, and resolve issues quickly whether working independently or with other resort departments.

Salary: $24.00/hour.

• Completion of routine and emergency maintenance and the operation of the physical structure of the resort, all mechanical systems and any other systems which affect the operation of the facility.
• Utilize highest quality work standards in all tasks and assignments according to performance and safety requirements.
• Effectively utilize the online work order system.
• Support and assure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform any necessary repairs or maintenance as required or assigned.
• Serve as a resource for all departments of the resort.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of mechanical areas, shops, tool carts and tools.
• Perform special projects as assigned by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.
• Be available for emergency contact.
• Comply with departmental and company grooming standards.
• Be available to work any shift as deemed necessary by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in facilities maintenance
• Availability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle challenges where solutions are not obvious
• Working knowledge of MS Office and online work order systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates
• Interpersonal skills to provide high levels of guest satisfaction
• Experience in a Hospitality, Club, or Resort setting preferred
• Ability to make correct decisions in a high-stress environment
• Ability to multitask various problems or assignments
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and meet company driving standards
