Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an associate attorney in Stanwood, WA. This position offers an opportunity to learn and practice workers' compensation law, focusing on assisting individuals injured on the job. The firm is located in north Snohomish County, serving a client base from Bellingham to Tacoma, with a primary focus on the Stanwood and Camano Island areas.

• Conduct direct and cross-examinations in hearings and depositions.
• Handle motion practice and discovery effectively.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and pleadings.
• Interact with outside parties and stakeholders.
• Negotiate resolutions and settlements.
• Present arguments orally and in writing.
• Engage in superior court practice, including jury trials.

• Member of the Washington State Bar.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
• Familiarity with evidence rules and civil procedure.
• Interest in law and medicine intersection.
• Commitment to life-long learning in relevant areas.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Active Washington State Bar license.
