Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical care to our patients. This role ensures proper medication dispensing, clinical review, patient counseling, and compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
Location: Washington, IA
Shift: Day’s – (8x5)
Key Responsibilities- Accurately interpret and dispense physician-ordered medications
- Review patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and therapy appropriateness
- Provide patient counseling and administer immunizations
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
- Monitor medication storage, controlled substances, and pharmacy operations
- Document medication errors and recommend therapy or process improvements
- Support and oversee pharmacy personnel as directed
- Pharm
D from an accredited school of pharmacy - Immunization certification and BLS (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
