Carrier Certification Engineer

Bothell, WA (Onsite role)
Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Laiba Technologies LLC, is seeking the following.
Responsibilities- Conduct tests to ensure device and service configurations adhere to GSMA TS.43 guidelines.
- Perform in-depth testing of HTTP/HTTPS traffic, including header validation, status code verification, API endpoint testing, and performance analysis.
- Test and verify SSL/TLS certificate implementations, ensuring chain of trust, expiration, revocation status (OCSP/CRL), and cipher suite compatibility.
- Analyze and test JWT-based authentication mechanisms (token generation, validation, signature verification, expiry, and common vulnerabilities).
- Collect, review, and analyze network traces, server logs, and application logs to diagnose issues and identify root causes.
- Handle partner issues: track bugs, minimize duplicates, secure all necessary information, communicate across functions, and facilitate debugging to meet service level objectives.
- Manage pre‑launch QA by partners: provide instructions, live or online support during testing, and verify issues locally.
- 8–12 years minimum in computer/software technology.
- 4 years minimum working with enterprise customers in professional services, tech support, and/or product management.
- Experience with telecommunication industry and networking infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with mobile technology solutions/applications is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SIP, MSRP protocol.
- Good knowledge of IMS/RCS Architecture.
- Strong debugging skills at protocol level (SIP, MSRP, TCP).
- Android application debugging, capturing bug reports, logcat & adb commands.
- Bug reporting on bug tracking tools and understanding of bug life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
