POSITION

2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Washington

Monday – Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM. Overtime as needed.

Assist the Production Manager with all required functions in designated area.

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop production team members to achieve performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures; promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Identify and resolve production issues, including quality defects, equipment malfunctions, and labor challenges.
• Maintain accurate production records, labor tracking, and performance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
• Conduct daily team meetings and shift handoffs to ensure clear communication.
• Assist the Production Manager with labor planning, scheduling, and coverage to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Support special projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Production Manager.
• Conduct annual employee evaluations
• Understand machine setup, operations, and troubleshooting
• Assists with the preparation of time estimates for jobs and monitors them, reporting deviations to the manager and customer service while making recommendations to resolve problems and increase efficiency
• Investigate work related injuries, completing accident reports and making recommendations
• Other duties as assigned

Production Manager

General Helper, Operator Class A, B, C, Material Handler

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to train and share knowledge
• Ability to read drawings
• Comprehension of written documentation
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong computer knowledge; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel essential
• Strong teamwork and team building skills

• Post secondary education or equivalent job experience

• All applicable Occupational Safety and Health Regulations
• Olon specific training for designated position

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and moving machinery.
