Position: Senior Sales Engineer - Key Accounts (West)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Partner with Sales, Product/Engineering, and Customer Success teams to present the value proposition and strategy to customers
  • Drive the technical sales agenda for Fortune 100 prospects from pipeline generation through purchase decision
  • Close complex opportunities using advanced technical skills and competitive knowledge
  • Present at executive forums and translate technical details into business impact for key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate CRM records regarding customer feedback and competitive landscape
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or Dev Ops Engineering role
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate business benefits and technical advantages
  • Experience in programming/scripting with one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and familiarity with Dev Ops practices
  • Proven ability to secure new logo accounts and engage prospects through long sales cycles
  • Ability to travel up to 45% of the time via auto, train, or air

  • Experience in educating customers on observability risks and building evaluation plans
  • Background in technical sales and familiarity with cloud technologies
