• Shift: 12-hour nights (19::00), weekdays and some weekends

• Hours per Week: 36

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,580 - $2,720 per week

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (OB/L&D nursing jobs preferred)

• Active Registered Nurse license (Washington preferred at time of submission) — Washington nursing jobs candidates encouraged to apply

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

• Experience with Cerner charting system required

• References: 2 years in L&D specialty required

• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and newborn nursing care for laboring mothers, deliveries, and postpartum patients

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery using fetal monitoring and clinical assessment

• Assist with vaginal deliveries and perform newborn assessments and initial stabilization

• Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, and manage isolation precautions/PPE

• Accurate and timely documentation of all care in Cerner EMR

• Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed — flexible OB nurse role

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment for patients and families
