Position: DSHS Lakeland Village Psychologist 4
Location: Medical Lake

Lakeland Village, Residential Habilitation Center (RHC), is seeking a Psychologist to join a highly respected team committed to helping clients with developmental disabilities have the supports they need to live healthy, safe, and inclusive lives.

In this job, you will be our subject matter expert in psychological services, providing clinical consultation and monitoring performance standards to ensure quality care. You'll also enjoy the leadership aspect of your job, providing clinical oversight to our Psychology Associate staff who support psychological, behavioral, and mental health services to intellectually disabled residents with significant challenges and specialized service needs.

Some of What You’ll Do
  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Associates at the facility.
  • Monitor restrictive procedures and recommend reductions when appropriate.
  • Assign priorities to Psychology Associates based on their respective caseloads.
  • Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop positive behavioral support plans.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments.
  • Maintain oversight of all positive behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs.
  • Manage the facility peer review process.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings.
We’re Looking For Professionals Who Have
  • Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team.
  • Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities.
  • Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
Who Should Apply

Professionals with a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school of psychology with three years of post‑doctoral experience, including one year of experience supervising other professional psychologists with a current license to practice psychology in the state of Washington.
