Patient Account Representative

Coulee Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our dedicated and tight-knit billing team. This position focuses primarily on commercial insurance claims and supports both our Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic.

• Submit and follow up on commercial insurance claims
• Resolve claim denials, errors, and payment issues
• Communicate with insurance carriers
• Support patients and families with kindness and clarity
• Work side-by-side with a team that is here for each other

• Medical billing or patient accounts experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate
• Commercial insurance billing experience strongly preferred
• CAH and/or RHC billing experience is a plus
• Experience with Cerner and SSI is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

  The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles' duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education and experience.
