About the Position
Allied Travel Careers is working with Pride Health to find a qualified Medical Assistant in La Conner, Washington, 98257!
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility, located in La Conner, WA 98257 . This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Specific Duties :
Performed patient rooming, vitals collection, and comprehensive patient assessments.
Conducted basic laboratory testing and assisted with clinical diagnostic procedures.
Drew blood and managed specimen handling according to clinical standards.
Completed clinical reports, documentation, and daily operational logs.
Processed medication refills and handled provider-assigned clinical tasks.
Answered multi-line phones, provided patient support, and coordinated appointment needs.
Assisted with front office coverage, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications:
1 year of preferred experience
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
BLS Certification
