Role Description
Are you passionate about helping individuals in crisis and making a difference in your community? Join NEW Alliance Behavioral Health's Crisis Services Unit — a dedicated team providing 24/7 urgent and emergent behavioral health crisis response across Ferry, Stevens, and Lincoln counties.
As a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR), You Will
- Provide in-person crisis intervention, mobile outreach, and stabilization services to individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations under RCW 71.05 and 71.34 to determine voluntary or involuntary hospitalization needs.
- Coordinate care with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure safe, least-restrictive outcomes.
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and community collaboration to improve crisis response services.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field (required).
- Active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or higher — independent licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) strongly preferred.
- Two years’ experience in mental health; prior DCR experience highly desirable.
- Strong communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and ability to travel across Ferry, Stevens, and Lincoln counties.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Wage Range: $94,416 - $113,304/annually with additional compensation for on-call shifts
