Preliminary License Pay: $34 and up Independent License Pay: $37/hr and up

IOP ClinicianThe IOP Clinician is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. The IOP Clinician will be responsible for patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. The IOP Clinician will conduct psychosocial and bio‑psychosocial assessments. This Clinician will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning.
The IOP Clinician has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.
Job Duties
- Provide excellent individual, family and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by Clinical Director.
- Complete all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. Includes the following documents:
- Admission Documents and Consent
- Biopsychosocial Assessment and Integrated Summary (72 hours)
- Comprehensive Problem List
- Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates (24‑72 hours based off payer)
- ASAMs (24 hours, based on state standards)
- Individual, family and group therapy session notes (24 hours)
- Discharge Summary (72 hours)
- Prior and ongoing outreach to prospective and current patients to ensure program engagement to meet expected conversion rate.
- Use substance abuse and co‑occurring therapeutic interventions and de‑escalation techniques to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans, goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment.
- Assess patients for substance use disorders, risk to self or others and co‑occurring mental health disorders.
- Use therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans, goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment.
- Manage aftercare recommendations and support that will prepare patient for maintaining successful recovery.
- Provide caseload management as per state requirements.
- Participate in crisis intervention with patients as needed.
