Overview
Job Summary The Lead Medic will assist the EMS Director in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, as well as carry out paramedic duties as outlined in the paramedic job description. In no way will this position be interpreted to have any managerial authority such as discipline, hiring, firing or the ability to change wages. The Lead Medic will perform a variety of duties for the EMS Department, including, but not limited to, the monitoring of day-to-day activities and the coordination of multiple EMS vehicles.
Works an average of 120 shifts per year, or as outlined in the most recent IAFF contract for 1.0 FTE.
