Ultrasound Technologist - US Tech RAD - Travel
We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Union Gap, WA. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
- Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
- Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
- Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
- Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
- Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
- Must have 1 year of experience.
- Must have BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required.
- US Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
- US Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
