Description

The Ultrasound Technologist coordinates sonographic imaging services with providers and staff to provide safe, high-quality care. Performs modalities of Ultrasound exams proficiently to provide Radiologist/Cardiologist with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: 2 years of college appropriate to the field
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire. Or
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of Ultrasound experience.
  • 1 year of Registry or experience as a vascular and echocardiography sonographer.
