Full Time – 40 hours per week. Base rate: $39.50 per hour. 41 paid days off per year.

Wilkes RYDC, 1430 Industrial Park Road, Washington, GA 30673.

• Under the general direction of the Lead Nurse, responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Guide patient teaching, nursing activities, and ancillary personnel.
• Promote a customer‑friendly environment and provide superior service to youth, facility staff, family, and outside vendors.

• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia.
• 1 year of previous experience in a clinical setting.
• Good organizational and decision‑making skills; good physical and mental health; able to work under pressure; must relate well to patients, security staff, visitors, and co‑workers.
• Functions within the Georgia Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.
• Current Health Care Provider BCLS Certification from American Heart or Red Cross.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, norm‑bending, reaching, stooping; stand and sit for long periods; move quickly in emergencies (within 4 minutes); normal hearing and vision; perform BCLS.
• Security Clearance by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
