General DescriptionDevelop and maintain relationships of trust and loyalty with the entire portfolio of Popular Securities clients. Provide an excellent service through a personalized relationship, work as a team with the Financial Consultant, colleagues in the Unit and the different dependencies of the Institution. Between these;
Private Banking, Popular Risk Insurance, and others, with the purpose of supporting and executing requests from our clients in these areas. Address the investment and financial needs of the client, monitor transactions and claims, always complying with the rules and operational procedures of the Unit. Guarantees the continuity of the customer's needs until their request is fulfilled.
- Handle all technical, operational, and administrative processes of the investment business carried out by the Financial Consultant.
- Assist and provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Manage customer requests and handle service inquiries.
- Generate and manage daily investment reports, tax reports, and year‑end reports.
- Conduct research and analytical studies. Prepare reports that include cost analysis, comparative financial and informational data to support findings. Include and not limited to prepare comprehensive investment proposals, presentations, and manage all customer paperwork. Generates and manages daily investment reports, tax reports, and year‑end reports.
- Utilize the FMAX Platform with all its capabilities: establishing correct benchmarks for the reports, verify that all accounts are in order, work with FMAX exception reports and alerts. Use the research and manager solutions to further provide information for client meetings.
- Open new accounts and perform all necessary account maintenance. Management of Docu Sign via UAO and ICP.
- Work with the customers' electronic files and other files such as seminars and presentations, among others.
- Manage and maintain Salesforce Platform.
- Process asset and money movement transactions (IBP, checks, journals, wires).
- Provide support in all client activities, appreciation events, seminars, and virtual events. Create a log of all clients, send invitations, and perform RSVP calls.
- Perform any additional task as it may be deemed by the Firm.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Accounting or Economics, preferably or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Note:
Related experience refers to the professional background related to the responsibilities and skills required for the position.
Two (2) years of experience in service functions and/or sales, preferably in financial products.
Additional Requirements- Excellent oral and written communication, both in Spanish (advanced level) and English (intermediate level).
- Specific knowledge in the securities market and investment industry desirable.
- Knowledge of Investment products and services to Identify business opportunities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, taxes, and financial analysis.
- Leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of the legal aspects of LLCs, trusts, retirement plans and inheritance law.
- Ability to identify problems, analyze their causes and use initiative and judgment to make decisions.
- Organizational skills, discipline, and structure.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills, interpersonal relationships, and negotiation.
- High level of organization to establish priorities, work with multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and be flexible to change.
- Ability to work under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
- Knowledge of e‑Money, FBSI, ICP, Wealthscape, Salesforce, FMAX, Morningstar, Bloomberg, WS Report Center and UAO desirable.
