Financial Analyst
Position Summary
The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting financial performance to Division management. This position will support month‑end reporting, as well as creating and establishing reporting templates for both financial and operational reporting requirements in Oracle EPM. Additionally, this position will also focus on the underlying chart of accounts mapping to ensure that the presented information is accurate and consistent across all locations.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Responsible for communicating results to management, including month end reporting
- Manages the Corporate chart of accounts to ensure consistent reporting across all locations
- Assists facilities to maintain integrity of local GL mapping to chart of accounts
- Creates and establishes reporting templates in Excel and EPM to support operational and financial reporting requirements
- Reviews the monthly internal reporting deliverables and consolidated projections including analysis of operational metrics
- Interfaces with users for questions and follow‑up, as well as providing training and documentation as support
- Validates data transfer between EPM applications
- Assists in system upgrades/implementations, including designing reports, validating data and supporting users
- Assists in preparation of the annual budget process and Division budget consolidation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Excellent computer skills required – an advanced level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software tools, as well as Reporting tools such as Oracle EPM, or equivalent software
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting
- Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative analysis and analytical abilities
- Strong attention to details with an ability to understand the big picture
- Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate business results and understand performance drivers of the business
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
- BA in Business Administration or Finance, CPA or MBA a plus
- 7+ as an analyst, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Candidate must live in the Seattle Metro Area
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
- Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time will be spent traveling.
- Job may be required at a customer facility.
- Duties may require the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
For informational purposes only the range of pay for this role is $ to $ US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only this role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Companys bonus multiple based on the Companys performance in the applicable quarter.
