Job Title: Teller/Personal Banker

Start Your Career with Citizens Alliance Bank! The Teller/Personal Banker position will provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers. They will receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns. The Teller/Personal Banker will handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers. Receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns; handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Remain flexible in dealing with the needs of customers, several team members, and departments. Serve as an advocate of the Bank and promote the Bank’s products, services, and Citizens Alliance Bank’s brand.
  • Promote and sell additional products and services to create product interest and generate customer action.
  • Active prospecting of potential customers and identifying quality opportunities.
  • Complete all required documentation during customer contact in compliance with bank policy and banking regulations.
  • Provide account information, answer inquiries, and perform telephone transfers in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Open all types of new deposit accounts, resolve problems, and demonstrate how customers can access and manage their products and services.
  • Collaborate with Operations Help Desk to resolve complex account inquiries as they arise.
  • Verify account balances, provide account information, and print copies of items and/or statements as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of Internal Service Standards and department procedures; read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, or operating manuals.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding sensitive customer and proprietary information.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality; may require travel for trade and industry schools and seminars; may require installation of MFA app on a personal device for security purposes.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Required — High School diploma or GED. Required — Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge. Preferred — One to Three years of banking experience. Preferred — One to Three years of administrative or customer service experience. Preferred — Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
