Job Title:
Shared Services Administrator – Plant Accountant
Role & Responsibilities- Manages and executes administrative tasks for a manufacturing facility with a focus on finance and accounting.
- Direct supervision of two (2) administrative employees performing financial and Human Resources activities.
- Accounts Payable, resolve invoice exceptions, update and maintain BOMs, inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, inventory adjustments, audit questions, freight tracking.
- Processing of plant payroll.
- Month‑end cost closing process assistance.
- Monthly plant accruals, month‑end journal entries, write‑offs where applicable.
- Assist and cross‑train for various office functions/tasks as needed.
- Typical hours 8 am – 4:30 pm with some overtime to meet time‑sensitive goals.
- Associates degree or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferred; certification in Business or Finance Administration an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency when meeting deadlines.
- Well‑developed organizational skills, prioritize, plan, and execute multiple tasks.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, build rapport within a diverse workforce; fostering high trust with employees crucial.
- Versatile and readily adaptable to new, different, or changing circumstances.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, aptitude to learn new computer applications; experience with Oracle a plus.
Hourly Salary Range: $29 – $36.70
