Job Requirements And Duties
  • Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Set the example. Follow all policy and procedures 100 % of the time and expect the same from the crew.
  • Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
  • Store sanitation: operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete paperwork, and clean the facility daily.
ADVANCEMENT

Many team members started as delivery drivers and progressed to franchise owners. Positions range from assistant manager to general manager to franchisee or corporate operations manager.

General

Job Duties For All Store Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.

Communication Skills
  • Provide correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Calculate add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders, and motor coordination between eyes and hands.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Navigate maps, locate addresses, and deliver product in adverse terrain.
Work Conditions Exposure to
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some work areas.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust, fumes from food odors, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges, and cramped quarters.
Sensing
  • Good hearing on telephone. Near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.
  • Depth perception and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
  • Night vision for driving.
Temperaments

Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing: most tasks performed standing; walking on tile and linoleum surfaces.
  • Walking: for short distances and durations.
  • Sitting: paperwork normally completed at a desk.
  • Lifting: bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds; loading cases up to 72 in. high.
  • Carrying: large cans, sauce cases, trays of dough (≈12 lb each) over short distances.
  • Pushing/Pulling: trays on dollies up to 7.5 pounds of force.
  • Climbing: occasional stairs or ladders.
  • Stooping/Bending/​Crouching: frequent bending, reaching, squatting.
  • Reaching: up to 72 in. for oven controls, signs, loading shelves.
  • Hand Tasks: eye‑hand coordination, use of both hands, shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel, cutting, packing boxes.
  • Equipment: use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter and peel.
