The selected candidate will work closely with company energy resource departments to conduct, review, and monitor environmental and compliance activities. Responsibilities include detailed monitoring and reporting related to compliance with operational permits and regulatory requirements for infrastructure. The candidate may also assist in agency coordination and consultation, representing the company. Specific tasks involve environmental regulatory programs related to air emissions, spill prevention, wastewater, and storm water discharge.

Additional duties include developing SOPs, documenting evaluations, obtaining permits, and administrative support for company programs.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science, Biology, Hydrology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with 7+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Access, or equivalent software.

• Experience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
• Experience with operating permits
• Advanced degree preferred
• Familiarity with electric or gas industry operations

Bright, responsible, hardworking, and proactive in managing compliance requirements for energy facilities. Prior experience with local power producers or utilities such as Avista, Portland General Electric, Clark Co PUD, Grays Harbor PUD, Pacific Gas & Electric, Energy Northwest, Hermiston Energy Services, etc., is preferred.
