Overview
Analyzes, interprets, implements and monitors product quality requirements of internal and external customers.
Essential FunctionsThis position includes the ability to perform those activities to complete the essential functions of the job, either with or without reasonable accommodation. Mental activities performed by the employee in this position include decision making, interpersonal skills, supervisory skills, teamwork, creativity, customer service, mentoring, use of discretion, presentations/teaching, problem analysis, negotiation, and the ability to perform math and to read, write, speak and understand English.
Work is primarily indoors in an office environment or in a manufacturing facility.

Preferred Knowledge, Skill and Ability to:
- Self-motivated individual who takes initiative to complete tasks.
- Experience in identifying and resolving issues using standard quality tools, e.g. fishbone, FMEA, 5
Why, Risk Analysis, DMAIC problem-solving - Knowledge of and experience with ISO/AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
- Good computer skills with an aptitude in MS Office
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and 3D models
- Familiar with statistical methods/SPC, data analysis and root cause analysis
- Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership in enforcing and improving quality standards
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve common results and goals
- Experience with composite materials and lean manufacturing is a plus
- Bachelor of Science degree required and 5-10 years’ experience in a related field.
- Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
