A Leading Utilities Contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team based from any regional UK office.
The main objective of the role is to develop and implement procurement strategies for national energy projects.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a small buying team.
- Create and improve procurement processes that support business objectives.
- Deliver the procurement requirements of senior internal stakeholders.
- Deliver cost savings, efficiency and quality improvements across the procurement function.
- Support the Head of Procurement with delivery a functional change programme.

You will be joining the procurement function at a great time, the new Head of Group Procurement has been in post for 1 year and is now managing a large functional transformation implementing many new strategic procurement initiatives, compliance standards and new systems.

Candidate RequirementsOur client is looking for Procurement Managers looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak with experienced Senior Buyers looking for career progression.
You will have 5+ years experience delivering strategic procurement across infrastructure projects for any main contractor or large subcontractor.
Ideally you will have some experience of delivering subcontract procurement, however this is not essential and training will be provided.
Ideally you will have some experience of leading small teams of procurement personnel.
