Associate Quality Engineer

Salary Range

Base pay range: $78,000 - $85,000 per year. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Supports quality activities, including resolution of customer complaints, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and new product introduction.

• Define and document required inspection and measurement activities, including new product inspection, receiving inspection, and calibration.
• Coordinate control of nonconforming material, including identification, containment, evaluation, and disposition.
• Monitor supplier performance and evaluate quality of incoming materials. Coordinate with Leviton supply chain and external suppliers to improve supplier performance.
• Facilitate the evaluation of customer quality concerns.
• Support new product introductions (PDI) and ensure integration of quality requirements from concept to production.
• Coordinate with other engineers and departments to establish process controls, reduce variation, and improve yield.
• Coordinate with other engineers and departments to evaluate problems, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Assist in activities required to maintain third party quality certifications (ISO 9001 and 14001) such as internal audits.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or technical field from an accredited college or university required.
• Experience or internship in a manufacturing environment preferred.
