Engineering Project Manager

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries.
We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.

The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and directing all activities that are carried out to successfully manage an assigned project. The incumbent directly interfaces with customers to develop fabrication plans for the production of large-scale aerospace parts. The incumbent coordinates with internal departments to execute those plans to the customer’s satisfaction. The incumbent follows Janicki Industries procedures, standards, and expectations with in an AS9100 environment.

Successful Project Managers may become eligible for role advancement in the Program Management job hierarchy, with additional associated opportunities and responsibilities, at the discretion of the management team.

• Develops and executes high level and detailed project plans
• Communicates, consults with, and over sees Production and Design
• Develops and analyzes schedules and budgets
• Reports schedule progress regularly to the customer
• Develops and releases planning and purchases supplies
• Performs design and drafting tasks related to the processing of a requested product
• Transforms a successful project plan into successful execution (plan, monitor, execute, close out)
• Maintains understanding of the product development and product realization processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or a related field is required.
• All positions required at least a high school diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Must have effective graphical, verbal, and written communication skills in the English language.
• Must be able to lead a team of engineers to create and execute complex objectives in the manufacturing of products.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP Software is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software is required.
• Experience with CATIA and NX CAD software is required.

• Salary range for this role is between$80,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
