Qualifications- Valid degree from an accredited college or university
- Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements
- Have or can obtain clearance from Washington State Patrol and FBI background check
- Master’s Degree in appropriate endorsement area.
- Three to five years teaching experience in appropriate area.
- Multiple areas of endorsement in secondary grade levels.
- Demonstrate effective instruction; facilitates engaged learning; and, can acquire and record quality evidence of learning through multiple types of assessments.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and computer skills necessary for supporting instruction.
- Must understand and maintain confidentiality.
- Creative and caring with commitment to education for all students.
- Strive to maintain and improve professional competence. Ability to take and follow directions.
- Familiar with Common Core Standards and SBAC Assessments
- Demonstrate constructive and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and work effectively with students, parents and cohorts.
