The Early Childhood Assistant will provide support to the classroom communities, of children ages 2 ½ to 6 years. Throughout the school year, the assistant will work with the Early Childhood Teachers and Program Director to ensure that students have the necessary tools and time to devote themselves to their work, building a cohesive community and continuing to develop the love of learning.

The Woodinville campus is conveniently located two blocks south of downtown Woodinville, off State route 202.

This full-time, academic year position starts February 2026, with the hours of Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Woodinville Campus.

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students in classrooms, playgrounds, and Club House programs.
• Engage with children in ways that foster curiosity, independence, and respect.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and maintaining a clean Montessori environment.
• Support Lead Teachers during lessons and help with transitions, arrivals, and dismissals.
• Prepare and serve snacks, including accommodating dietary needs.
• Model positive behavior and guide students in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support each child’s needs.
• Document attendance and incidents accurately.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass background checks and TB test.
• Experience working with children in a group setting (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to complete Montessori Assistant Training.

Salary & Benefits: Salary range is $22 - $24 per hour, dependent on education, training, and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, Long-Term Disability, and life insurance, paid time off, 403b retirement plan, professional development allowance.
