Under the general direction and supervision of the assigned manager, the CTE Grant and Resource Development Director provides administrative oversight and supervision for all activities related to the planning, development, and implementation of workforce development, career technical education, and other categorical funding grants, special projects, and initiatives. The Director functions as the primary contact with all academic and on‑academic departments, programs, faculty and staff in regard to grant project planning, applications, implementation, administration and management.
This position will be funded by the Strong Workforce Program (SWP) and the Student Equity & Achievement Program (SEA).
This is a 2‑year categorically funded position from approximately 04/01/2026 – 06/30/2028. This position may be renewed annually contingent on continued funding and satisfactory work performance; may be extended, on an annual basis, to future fiscal years.
Responsibilities- Develops and manages categorical funding, e.g. workforce, CTE, SEA, kings? etc. in accordance with District and State policies, procedures, and regulations; plan, report, and evaluate performance‑based outcomes tied to State funding.
- Prepares, monitors, and tracks annual budgets for categorical grants, including but not limited to SWP, Perkins, SEA, Basic Needs, etc.
- Leads in the promotion and communication of grant and resource development opportunities and outcomes.
- Liaises and collaborates with Fiscal Services on relevant grant deadlines, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.
- Tracks and analyzes regional LMI data and trends related to workforce development to support program development in relevant industry sectors (identifies curriculum gaps and recommends training programs, courses, and curriculum areas to explore).
- Establishes and maintains partnerships with other community colleges in the Bay Region to identify compelling opportunities for collaboration to address shared challenges and opportunities.
- Represents the college at conferences, meetings, workshops, and training seminars pertaining to workforce basin etc.
- Engages internal stakeholders to promote the responsible stewardship of categorical grant funding and ensure alignment with the college’s mission and existing initiatives.
- Collaborates with area budget managers to ensure adherence to spending guidelines and reporting deadlines of fund sources. ℃
- Serves as college’s primary liaison with the CCCCO, BACCC, and other fund Ил?
- Identify, secure, and oversee strategic grants to support student success, including the development and implementation of activities, processes, and procedures that integrate multiple agency requirements.
- Work with external agencies to foster community relationships and guide opportunities with community‑based organizations, area high schools, business and industry, and the public
YL? sector to promote instructional offerings, especially for first‑generation, historically under‑represented students. - Assist in maintaining a fair and open work environment in accordance with the College’s commitment to teamwork, mutual Ur usage? trust and respect.
- Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of grant management/oversight or grant‑funded program oversight.

Knowledge and understanding of effectively working with diverse populations, including evidence and understanding of equity,偷窥 responsive, and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ability/disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of students.
- Career and Technical Education regulations and practices to prepare diverse students for college and career entry/advancement.
- Community College grants including development of work plans, collaboration with funding agencies, monitoring, compliance, and reporting.
