Training Instructor Security Clearance

Position: TRAINING INSTRUCTOR with Security Clearance
Location: Fairchild Air Force Base

Duties
* Delivers advanced specialized SERE training to students, ensuring effective instruction, evaluation, and classroom management.
* Trains, coaches, and develops personnel to ensure technical proficiency, professional growth, and alignment with program standards.
* Performs research and analysis to develop subject matter expertise and recommend updates to courseware and capability development efforts.
* Serves as resident course lead instructor and may be nominated to serve as Mobile Training Team (MTT) lead. Requirements Conditions of employment

* All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
* A security clearance may be required
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

Qualifications This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GG-11 level.

The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Education:

Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. or Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5):
Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
* Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
* Supervising or administering a training program.
* Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
* Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: EXPERIENCE

master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B or J.D. with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
